  • Santa Rosa City Schools welcomes students who reside outside of our district and allows students within our district to transfer to a school outside of their neighborhood.

    Intra or Inter? What's the difference?

    Intra - Intradistrict transfer is a transfer from one school to another school within the same school district.
    Inter - Interdistrict transfer is a transfer from one school district to another school district.

    At Santa Rosa City Schools, students who live within a particular school zone have enrollment priority in that neighborhood school, and transfer students may be enrolled based on availability of space and acceptance of a transfer application. To determine the schools zoned for your home address, type your address into My School Locator. 

  • Intradistrict Transfer (Open Enrollment)

    If your student lives within the Santa Rosa City Schools district boundaries and wants to attend a Santa Rosa City Schools school other than their neighborhood school, submit an Intradistrict Transfer form (available on this website, but only during Open Enrollment) to your neighborhood school (school of residence). Intradistrict transfers are done during the Open Enrollment period in each fall, and take effect for the following school year.

    The Open Enrollment window for the 2021-22 school year was October 1 to November 20, 2020, and is now CLOSED.     Thank you for submitting your applications. If you wish to cancel your Open Enrollment, please complete the Open Enrollment Cancelation form. The form can be emailed to: ysilva@srcs.k12.ca.us
